Itsy Bitsy Spider - Easter Egg App Reviews

Not enough screens

Wheels on the Bus and Old MacDonald are way more interactive than this. This is a lazy product that was rushed out. Poor.

Excellent Product

One reviewer said this App does not have enough pages and is therefore not interactive enough - thats just not true. It has just been designed differently, so although this has fewer pages than the companys other Apps, it is still very interactive. The individual characters do a lot more and there is even a fly that tells you a little bit about spiders, snails and plants. Actually, like all Duck Duck Moose Apps, this is excellent. Their customer service is also very good. When I asked them a question they responded very quickly and professionally. I hope they produce many more Apps. My 21 month old daughter loves them and I would reccomend this App without hesitation.

Luv it

I cant believe people still complain about not getting enough for their $1. Gimmee a break. This app had my twin girls giggling and poking around for 1/2 hour till we took it away. (Time was up.)

Great content and learning

My three year old keeps finding new things to do and has learned about rainbows and butterflies

Great app!

My three year old son just loves this app!! Reasonably priced and super cute!!

This ia my sons favourite

Clever and well put together. I dont think that it was rushed at all.

Itsy bitsy spider

Both kids love it (4 & 2)!

Great app for toddlers

My 18 month old loves this one the most out of all the duck duck moose apps. Its much more educational then the others. Unlike the other apps, this one explains, with the touch of a little creature why and how things occur such as what is a cloud, rain, sun, etc. My baby loves collecting eggs with the spider and plopping them on the web to make sounds. Then getting the squirrel to collect and count peanuts! Its too bad there wasnt more screens though. Its a pretty good app and it keeps my baby happy and occupied when Im trying to get dinner ready. Happy mommy and baby!

Love it

My 2 year old loves this app. I have to pry it out of his hands when time is up. I think its very cute. And its only $0.99. Good job Duck Duck Moose.

So cute!

My three year old really loves this little interactive story. Its super easy to use, and is definitely a great first ipad/touch game-type experience for beginner children. Its also very educational, as well as fun. Everything about this is really wonderful. It would be so nice if more screens were added because I do think that without more screens (there appear to only be two), it may be the kind of app that a child advances beyond quickly, but for $1, a really nice app overall.

Great for toddlers!

My 20 month old loves it! He also loves the Old MacDonald and Wheels on the Bus ones.

An app that grows with my kids, brilliant...

What I love about this app is that as my daughters grow, they are able to enjoy different aspects and learn from it. At first the entertainment value was solely what happened visually as they interacted with the app. Now, my 2.5 year old is telling me how caterpillars become butterflies. She counts aloud as the squirrel counts his nuts. Its amazing.

Great game for toddlers

Just enough features to keep kids entertained. Not too much to confuse them.

They love it

Poor application for its cost

Im quite dissapointed in what was delivered in this application for this cost. Ive downloaded many educational games for my son for the same cost of 1.99 with way more thought, graphics and creativity put into them. We were both quite let down when we played the game for the first time and after 5 minutes gave up for something more entertaining.

Favorite!!

Both my 3 yr old and 1yr old love this game. I find it very entertaining myself!

Not as good as others

I love Old McDonald and thought this would be good but I was wrong. Not very entertaining.

Fun for all

Great app to play and sing with. Kid love it.

Great app to start out with for a toddler

My just turned 2-year-old has been playing this game for over 6 months, and while we have multiple games now by Duck Duck Moose as well as other companies this one has withstood the test of time. I find that all the Duck Duck games are great for him, but I am glad we started out with this one. Old MacDonald & Wheels on the Bus required him to push the small buttons to move along to the next screen while Itsy Bitsy just let him touch the spider to move on to the next screen. Now that hes been playing it for so long I keep thinking hell get tired of it and move on to the new games Ive uploaded on my iPhone for just such a time (like the doctors office or sitting at a restaurant waiting for our food to come) and yet I look over and find hes playing that one again. I do love that Duck Ducks games are the kind of games they grow into - so if they dont do all the little things right at first, dont worry theyll figure it out eventually. Thats the fun of the game and why its made for younger children.
